At Jonathan e.V., we are committed to a modern form of education that embraces inclusivity and fosters a love for learning among children. One of the most exciting aspects of our project is the garden at our educational and community center. This space serves not only as a learning tool but also as a playground for experimentation and creativity. As the autumn season arrives, we find ourselves surrounded by the fruits of our labor, with plenty of vegetables and fruits harvested. However, autumn also represents a perfect opportunity for new beginnings. Under the guidance of our dedicated teacher, Maria, and with the presence of guests like Jana Herzog, the children have been exploring innovative ideas for what to plant next in the garden. The preparation for these activities is a crucial element of our methodology, emphasizing the importance of planning in the learning process.
Our garden symbolizes growth and transformation, both for the plants and the children involved. It is a hands-on learning environment where children can connect theory with practice, witnessing firsthand the results of their efforts. Each seed planted is not just a step in gardening; it is an investment in their future, teaching them responsibility, patience, and the rewards of hard work.
As we continue to engage with our young learners, we invite you to consider how you can be part of this transformative journey. Whether you wish to visit our school project or the educational and community center in Dacia/Stein, we warmly welcome guests and volunteers alike. If you cannot visit us in person, we are more than happy to come to you and share our experiences and efforts in Dacia/Stein and other projects.
