**Surprise 😊: A call, then we had 30 min left**
Last Thursday, I suddenly received three calls from a French number, followed by a message that read: “Good day, can we come to you in 30 min? We are on the road with a van and have a dog with us.” Shortly thereafter, unexpected guests were at the door. Elvira welcomed them, even though the water in the house was not yet turned on, which did not bother the guests.
**An unexpected encounter and valuable experiences**
The unexpected guests came by thanks to our listing on Park4night as a parking space. Last year, we were able to meet many different people from different countries through this. Some of these encounters have led to wonderful relationships and friendships that still exist today.
This type of encounter allows us to introduce our inclusive school project to a larger number of people. At the same time, it shows the children and residents how valuable and important they are to others. The proceeds we receive from the guests go 100% into the inclusive school project.
**The importance of support and cohesion**
The social and economic challenges in Europe also have an impact on small organizations like ours. Therefore, we are grateful for any support that allows us to continue our important work. We look forward to many more inspiring encounters this year.
