We have calculated again / this is how much it costs including the school project per month and year.
The total amount per month is 1169.05 Euros and 14028.06 Euros per year.
Now for 13 years, the inclusive school project has been in Dacia/Stein. In the meantime, many of our former children can lead an independent life, have a job, or live in their own family.
Here are some numbers: the children have been accompanied for 13 years, approximately 44 weeks per year, 5 days a week, and about 4 hours per day. This results in a care time of 11440 hours provided by our teacher. Additionally, there are about 8000 hours contributed by Elvira, our housekeeper, and countless hours from volunteers and supporters.
During this time, alongside the “normal” school activities that were carried out together, there was a lot of time spent on social learning, playing, having fun, cooking together, and excursions.
The costs for this shared living and learning time of the children are per month:
– 300 Euros for the children’s meals, wood about 84 Euros, gas 5.50 Euros, 100 Euros for electricity, 50 Euros for projects and excursions, 9.55 Euros for internet, 100 Euros for administration, waste disposal, and rent share, 30 Euros for educational materials, 250 salary for the teacher, 190 salary for the housekeeper, 50 Euros for the accountant.
This results in a total of 1169.05 per month and 14028.06 Euros.
This means that all donors have contributed an incredible total of 182,371.80 Euros over the last 13 years. 😊 😊 😊
I admit this leaves us speechless with gratitude… but it also makes it clear that good education is not cheap.
