Why there are no images of misery in our posts!
Like many other small, wonderful, and important projects that exist in so many places and for many different people in need, we rely on support and financial donations.
Since 2010, we have experienced a time when we received so few donations that we were no longer able to finance the food for lunch in the inclusive school project (about 300 euros per month). It was a very painful time for us to have to send our children home hungry and without food.
The school project, one of our most important projects in Romania, has now been in existence for 13 years. Every month (1169 euros) and every year (14028 euros) is a challenge, and we hope anew every month that we will receive the necessary support for this educational and social project. It is a project that invests in the future in the long term.
During this long time, there have often been requests, impulses, and opinions that we should also portray sad, crying, and seemingly miserable children and families to receive more donations and put the project on “solid ground.”
However, we, Jonathan e.V. and Copiii-Europei, have decided to report on our activities with results, experiences, and daily work. We warmly invite every donor to come to us in Dacia/Stein and get an impression of the work done on-site.
We hope to convince our supporters, donors, and volunteers with factual truths and not with emotional manipulation through painful images and to inspire them with the results.
Even in 2024, we hope to receive the necessary support with this philosophy. Because without the many small and larger regular donors and one-time donors, visitors, and volunteers, this inclusive school project cannot exist.
