**Blog Post: A Weekend Scare and an Impressive Rescue Operation**
In an intense week, during which work was carried out on the new roof of the Education and Encounter Centre for six days, an important step was forgotten over the weekend. The roofing company had neglected to secure an open area of the roof with rain protection sheets. When it started to rain, water seeped into the roof at this point. Fortunately, Wolfram was able to contact the boss of the company, who arrived on Sunday with an employee and his wife to protect the roof from further rain.
**An Impressive Rescue Operation**
Despite the company’s oversight, the boss showed a remarkable response by travelling a long distance over the weekend to secure the roof. This quick response and readiness to act are not a matter of course and were greatly appreciated by all involved. As a thank you for the rescue operation, Elvira and Cora invited the helpers for a delicious coffee break to express their appreciation.
