The two events today could not be more different.
In the morning, we received the new electricity bill for our inclusive school project. Unfortunately, it is only 100 Lei, or about 20 Euros, lower than the last bill. At 1652 Lei, or 344 Euros, it is once again an extremely high electricity bill, even though Katrin has already financed part of it for us. She wrote to us yesterday and informed us that she will donate part of her Christmas bonus for the electricity bill of the inclusive school project. A heartfelt thank you for that…
By chance, I then stumbled upon the status update from Michaela and Guido, who visited us in Dacia/Stein last summer. There, they shared a very special call for donations.
The lyrics of a song from my youth say: “Everything must start small, let some time pass. It just needs to gain strength and eventually it will grow.”
…and that is exactly true here. If everyone makes a small contribution and spreads the message further, it will become larger and stronger. We can all bring hope, education, and a smile into our world and specifically to Dacia/Stein with a contribution that is appropriate for us.
I am very curious to see how big the joint plant of the education and meeting center/inclusive school project will grow during the Christmas donation season. What do you think? Will it be enough to enable the children to have a safe school project year in 2024?
