Jana Herzog led the first working group deployment during Easter time in Dacia/Stein, bringing joy to the faces of the children. The pumps in the house were connected, and the summer shower is now ready for use. This means a great relief for Elvira and teacher Maria, as water is now available for various purposes. Larger groups also have access to washing and showering facilities in the garden.
**Crafting with the children and Easter joys**
In addition to repairing the house, crafts were made with the children, and the Easter Bunny paid a visit. Even though Easter is not celebrated in Romania until May, the children were able to prepare and hide Easter baskets. Thanks to food donations and a bulk purchase with Elvira, the next meals are secured. Special thanks go to the handicraft circle of the Nauendorfer Heimatstube and the staff of the AWO-Hort Dresden for their support.
