Saint Nicholas,
yesterday, children around the world celebrated the Christian tradition of Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas, the bishop, who according to legend saved three girls from poverty and suffering by giving them generous gifts. The children of the inclusive school project were also looking forward to the man in the red cloak 😊 and have crafted stars for the classrooms and at home, as well as red boots this week.
And what can we report? Saint Nicholas also visited the school project this year and left some sweet treats for our children.
Yesterday, we also received a call from our Ukrainian partner Pawel, who told us that Saint Nicholas has a greater significance for many people in Ukraine than Santa Claus. He not only shared this with us but also informed us that the transport with medical supplies and much more finally arrived in the afternoon. The transport had been stuck at the Polish border for 1.5 days. We will report on this again in January when all donations have reached their final destination.
A heartfelt thank you to you (Nicholases), who make our work possible through your support.
