Jonathan flies high above, with courage, strength, and self-confidence.
The sun rays sparkle on the asphalt as Jonathan arrives at the parking lot in front of the help center. He observes volunteers unloading boxes and preparing for the upcoming day. The atmosphere is full of energy and willingness to help.
In recent months, the seagull Jonathan has continued her journey. With everything she has seen and experienced, she has noticed that it doesn’t always have to cross borders. There is so much nearby where help is needed and gratefully accepted. She has helped, supported, and mediated. We have not been idle. In addition to supporting the charity run of the 8th GS and conversations with other associations, we have utilized our resources and networks to help people on the ground and support volunteers in their work. It doesn’t take much to do good.
An elderly lady approaches Jonathan and tells him about her commitment to the community. She seems grateful for the support she and her fellow campaigners receive. Jonathan listens attentively and feels the warmth that resonates in her words.
In the near future, we will introduce you to projects that do excellent transparent work, support people in Germany and Romania, offer services to refugees and those in need in Dresden, and provide counseling. Besides all the opportunities in Germany, our hearts continue to be in Romania, in Dacia and its surroundings.
Jonathan observes how the volunteers are diligently working on the renovation of a youth center. They are painting walls, repairing furniture, and creating a beautiful space for the youth of the community. Every action seems like a sign of solidarity and connection.
A quiet smile crosses Jonathan’s beak as he sees the gratitude in the eyes of the young people, who are filled with anticipation for the reopening of the center.
