Invitation to “Christmas in a Shoebox”
We warmly invite you to our annual Christmas donation campaign. As in previous years, we have decided this year to have a “digital Christmas in a Shoebox”.
The reason for this is that we would like to fill the shoebox together with you in such a way that the children of the inclusive school project can benefit from it throughout the entire year of 2024 and can enjoy it together with you.
The total costs for the inclusive school project amount to 1169.05 euros per month and 14028.06 euros per year. These costs consist of the following individual items:
• 300 euros for the children’s food, 84 euros for wood, 5.50 euros for gas, 100 euros for electricity, 50 euros for projects and excursions, 9.55 euros for internet, 100 euros for administration, waste disposal, and rent share, 30 euros for educational materials, 250 euros salary for the teacher, 190 euros salary for the housekeeper, 50 euros for the accountant
Additionally, for the coming year, there is the urgently needed roof renovation of the educational and meeting center where the inclusive school project is located. For this construction work, we need an additional 15000 euros just for the craftsmen’s costs.
We look forward to filling the digital “Christmas in a Shoebox” box together with you. We are supported by the donation platform Betterplace. The platform contributes to every donation made on the Sundays in December and to all ongoing donations with an additional grant of 15%. This applies to December 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st, 2024
