Dear friends and supporters,
I would like to share our joy with you and make two people here “visible” who otherwise do intensive work for the school project in the background. This is of course accompanied by a big thank you.
On Tuesday, we received the information that the first part of the firewood for our inclusive school project has finally been delivered. Elvira, Petro, and Robert invested a lot of time on-site for this, and the mayor’s office took over the transport as promised.
The organization and financing have caused us great worries for many years. For some years now, we have not had these worries anymore, and for that, we would like to thank Jörg Hilbrink very much. He has repeatedly covered the total costs for the urgently needed firewood, thus ensuring warm classrooms. Additionally, he has already been significantly involved in the construction projects in collaboration with Sven from 4X4 and Friends during the summer.
On Wednesday, we received the message (see picture) from Dorothea Georgi, who has been coming to Dacia/Stein once a year for a week with students from the 4th grade of the evangelical primary school in Radebeul for many years. She is very motivated to equip our inclusive school project with the necessary and also very expensive educational materials. A huge thank you for that.
Dorothea will deposit 600 euros into the Betterplace account next Sunday, so that with the grant from Betterplace, a total of 690 euros will be available on Sunday.

We certainly hope that we will also have the opportunity in the fourth week of the Christmas donation campaign to reduce the remaining amount for the school project and the roof renovation.
