On International Women’s Day, Möwe Jonathan thinks of all the women who hold families together, give hope, and build bridges. But she also sees the challenges: Too many women are hindered from education, which is the key to a better future.
In the school project in Stein (Dacia, Romania), we experience how education changes lives – not just for children, but also for their mothers. Together, we are committed to ensuring that every woman has the chance to learn and grow.
In Romania, International Women’s Day is celebrated similarly to Mother’s Day, which gives people, especially men, a reason to honor their mothers, grandmothers, and friends by giving them cards and flowers.
For this, the children have been busy crafting all week to surprise their moms today!
