Every day during school time and for 12 years (since 2010), children voluntarily come to the inclusive school project in Dacia/Stein. They come because they have a desire to learn and know the children of the first generation, who are now trained electricians and car mechanics. They are role models and beacons of hope for them. For a self-determined life, in which they are able to support themselves and their family and live with dignity.
Sometimes, in addition to school assignments or daily meals, there is also something for the children’s small pleasure: something sweet.
Thanks to the donors who have been supporting us for 12 years, enabling the children from Dacia/Stein to have hope for a brighter future. They help us in many different ways to finance the monthly 750 euros for food, electricity, gas, wood, school materials, and the salary of our wonderful teacher Maria.
If you would like to visit the school project or the education and meeting center – either as a guest or as a volunteer – you are always welcome. Alternatively, we are also happy to come to you and report on the work in Dacia/Stein and the other projects.
