A New Year Full of Hope and Opportunities
The past year was marked by successes and achievements for the inclusive school project in Dacia. The children not only received comprehensive educational opportunities, but also a warm meal every day, gifts on special days, and even the chance to win a PC for their families. Major decisions were made, such as the long-term lease for the school building and the urgently needed roof renovation. However, with the new year on the doorstep, new challenges and projects are on the horizon that require the support of the community.
The Challenge: A New Roof for the Future
A central project for the ongoing year is the re-roofing of the school project’s building. The plan is to carry out this work from 24.06. to 28.07.2024, with a Romanian construction company taking on the main work. However, to achieve this ambitious goal, volunteer helpers are also needed to assist with the work and take on additional tasks.
The educational and encounter center in Dacia therefore cordially invites you to the guest marathon, which allows people to use the center as a vacationer during the roof renovation or to actively participate as a volunteer. Accommodation is available in the house, in the garden, or in tents, caravans, or roof tents. This special opportunity offers a unique experience where you can not only discover the beauty of Romania, but also make a valuable contribution to the children’s future.

There are various ways to support the inclusive school project in Dacia and enable a hopeful future for the children.
