🚚🏠 A Roof for the Children in Dacia! Today a major milestone has been reached: The first truck has arrived at the two loading stations (Penig and Zwickau) to pick up the materials for the roof construction. With the first 20 Euro pallets, 4.8 kilometers of roof battens, and another 3 Euro pallets of small materials, we can finally get started! We can hardly believe how far we have already come. Most of the materials for our project are now on their way. In the next 24 hours, we expect the second truck to pick up the remaining 24 Euro pallets of materials.
The roof battens and small materials will be temporarily stored with a friendly entrepreneur. The excitement is building as we hand over the shipping documents and the journey begins.
At this point, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Klaus Roth, who has taken over the entire coordination in Penig and Zwickau for us, and to the Tietz family and Petre Bljan, who have supported us intensively with contacts to the shipping company and the drivers.
