Visit from England,… or in the Cathedral of Coventry, the inclusive school project of Dacia/Stein is being talked about.
For many years, the educational and meeting center in Dacia/Stein has been part of the worldwide Coventry community https://www.coventrycathedral.org.uk/reconciliation/community-of-the-cross-of-nails and has been awarded for its educational and reconciliation work with the Cross of Nails.
In October, we were visited for the first time after the Corona period by Jane (the chairperson of the Share association) and Martin Williams (one of the board members of the cathedral) as well as Luck Fitzgerald.
The cathedral choir is planning to give a concert in Dacia/Stein next year with about 45 singers for all residents and friends of classical music.
Share has been supporting the work of the inclusive school project for many years and sends students from Coventry for further education on a study trip to the project.
The joy of seeing each other again was very great among all those involved, from left to right, Martin, Jane, Elvira, Diana, and Luke Fitzgerald.
Luck was thrilled by the organ of the Protestant church in Dacia/Stein and is already looking forward to the concert in 2024.
We would like to sincerely thank the Share association for this year’s donation of 500 pounds, which is urgently needed for the roof renovation.
For the craftsmen’s work, we received a cost estimate of about 15,000 euros in recent days, plus the small materials that are still missing.
