Dear friends and supporters,
The year 2023 is coming to an end, and I would like to take you on a brief journey through this exciting, thrilling, exhausting, and beautiful year.
It was a year full of many small and quiet, wonderful moments. Jana and Falko’s team was on site several times and supported us with their craftsmanship.
Dorothea was once again with a whole 4th grade class from Radebeul for a week during the Easter holidays in Dacia/Stein. Together with the children from our project, they had a wonderful time.
Gitza and his team, along with 9 children from Petrila, were with us and organized a fantastic holiday week for all the children in the village over several days.
Inka and her friend were with us in the summer and, together with Maria, organized the holiday activities. During this time, colorful chairs and tables were created, delicious treats were made in the kitchen, and a very special hike to the castle in Rupea was undertaken.
Sven and his 4×4 team were with us again; the second sleeping room was equipped with new electrical wiring and a sturdy ceiling, and there was an excursion to the bear sanctuary.
The building materials for our largest project in 2024 were delivered, which was only possible with the logistical support of Klaus, Wolfram, and Petro in Germany and Dacia/Stein.
And then there were the many wonderful guests who visited our project, such as Josefine and her family from vanfam.de, who donated a portion of the proceeds from their book to the children, Michaele and her husband, who donated the proceeds from a celebration to the children, Jörg, who once again took on the financing of the urgently needed firewood, and many other helpers.

On site, we have our two very special employees, Maria and Elvira. They live with the children a "different" school, showing them that learning can be fun, that education can taste good, and that it is much more than just looking at books. They show the children that it is a time with other children, with friends, and much more.
Thank you to everyone I haven’t mentioned here, who have advanced this project through their moral, material, and emotional support.
Now I wish you much enjoyment in viewing the pictures and hope that we will also master the upcoming tasks in 2024.
